Multnomah Falls in January?

It was a nice day at our house today, so Gary had an idea for an adventure...let's go to Multnomah Falls!
It was unbelievably cold and windy there, so we all had to bundle up. This adorable fuzzy suit from Aunt Susan was perfect for baby!
We hiked all the way to the top of the Falls (My postpartum body doesn't remember it being so difficult before!)

Madelyn slept almost the entire way, strapped to mama's chest. She woke up just in time to enjoy the view from the top though! (and then went back to sleep for the trek down)












Finally back in the warm car--for cuddles! Madelyn deserved lots--she was an angel the whole time.

Mallrats

Beautiful Grandma Bonnie loves to show off her Pride and Joy at work (Macy's). Madelyn will love the mall like her mama in no time!

Disaster Strikes.....

Madelyn rolled over off of Gary's chest and landed on her back on the bed--she was so scared from the long fall!










Madelyn was being fussy while we were trying to take her picture with Kristen. It quickly became apparent why when she threw up right after the camera clicked!

Goin' for a Ride

This babe is all ready for our first venture out in her GREAT new stroller (thanks to Grandma Bonnie and Great Aunt Tammie). It was a chilly day, but she enjoyed the ride!
