Easter Eggs

Easter eggs we dyed.

Madelyn prefers to be shirtless whenever allowed.

We invited Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Dale to join us at an Easter Egg event that a Curves member had touted. I don't blame Madelyn for being wary of this bunny.

Parade of One

We arrived too late to participate in the tiny parade to the Children's Fair. But Madelyn had decorated her scooter, so we followed the parade route by ourselves, enjoyed the fair, then had to walk all the way back to where we had parked.

Short Haircut

These are the last pictures I took of Madelyn with long hair.

The beautiful, golden curls of toddlerhood have disappeared. Long hair is difficult to manage, always in her face and tangly. Madelyn despises having her hair brushed.

So we went for what we hoped would be a more manageable style without looking like the "toddler chop" of which we're not big fans. 

We're happy with the result! And Madelyn is happy with her DumDum sucker.
